Onboarding Specialist – Accounting & Bookkeeping

Job Description:
As an Onboarding Specialist at Indigo Bookkeeping Services, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and integrating new bookkeeping clients. Your expertise in bookkeeping will enable you to provide exceptional support, ensuring clients understand our processes and feel confident in our services. You will be the primary point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the onboarding process with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:
-Welcome new bookkeeping clients and provide them with a seamless onboarding experience.
-Conduct initial consultations to understand clients’ bookkeeping needs and requirements.
-Set up client accounts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
-Provide training and support to clients on using our bookkeeping software and tools.
-Address any questions or concerns clients may have during the onboarding process.
-Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
-Maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress.
-Continuously seek ways to improve the onboarding process and enhance client satisfaction.
-Maintain the bookkeeping records until the file is ready to be handed off.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
-Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
-Proficiency in office and bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage, Microsoft Excel, Email Management).
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
-Must be able to commute to Winkler.
